Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Dose the strength of the line color on "T" show the level of drug being detected? In other words, if the line on "T" is strong or faint dose that indicate how much of the drug is being detected?

A: NO. The strength of the color on any line has nothing to do with how much drug is being detected. These tests are "YES or NO" - the drug is being detected at that cut off level or not. Again, the results are "YES" the drug is being detected or "NO" the drug is not being detected.

2. What if the line on "T" is very fait / pail pink. It's a lot less strong than the line on "C".

A: Any line counts no matter how faint counts. For the THC panel, we find the line on "T" is always less strong than the line on "C", this is normal. If the test is detecting a drug there will be NO LINE on "T" at all - not even a faded looking one.

3. Can I urinate directly on the test devise? Or do I have to pee in a cup first?

A: You must collect the urine in the provided cup or your own. The test must be "dipped" into the urine sample. If you urinate on the test it will NOT work at all. Allowing any urine to contact the plastic part of the test will cause the test to be invalid.

4. If I "pass" this home test will I pass at the lab?

A: In most cases YES, the lab generally uses the same SAMHSA standards for drug screening. This means they are using the same drug ng/ml cutoff levels. Lab's do have the ability to use a a piece of equipment called GC/MS (gas chromatography / mass spectrometry). This GC/MS can look a bit closer at a urine sample. Example: our 1 panel THC tests at a cutoff level of 50 ng/ml, the lab using the GC/MS can look at the same sample at a cutoff level of 15 ng/ml. Labs don't always use the GC/MS for every sample they receive.
